REBUILD STATUS
Our Mission and What We Believe
Mission Statement
We are a Christ-centered family where all people are welcomed, loved, and equipped to grow in faith. Our mission is to make disciples of Jesus Christ who worship joyfully, love abundantly and witness faithfully. We seek to serve our community with compassion, share the hope of the Gospel, and live as a light of God’s Kingdom—small in number but mighty in love.
What We Believe
The Bible
We believe the Bible is God’s Word to all people and reveals God’s plan of salvation through Jesus Christ. It is the ultimate authority for what we believe and shows us how to live in a way that honors Him.
God
God is the great, good, and holy Creator and Ruler of the universe, possessing all power, knowledge, and presence. He is our loving, compassionate, and faithful Father, the source of our existence, who created all people in His image and governs with grace and mercy.
Jesus Christ
Jesus Christ is the eternal Word made flesh, the only Son of God—fully God and fully man. Through His sacrificial death on the cross, resurrection, and ascension, Jesus Christ reconciled us to God, conquered sin and death to give us eternal life, reigns as Lord over all, and will one day return to judge. Jesus Christ alone is the way, the truth, and the life—the only way to be made right with God.
Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit, proceeding from the Father and the Son, works in the world to convict people of sin and draw them to Christ. The Holy Spirit indwells the believer, assuring our relationship and providing power for living. He guides us into all truth, comforts us, grants us spiritual gifts, and transforms us daily to be more like Christ, all while exalting Him.
The Trinity
The Trinity is the foundational Christian belief that God is one Being who exists in three Persons. God is the Father, the Son (Jesus), and the Holy Spirit. God is always the Father, always the Son, and always the Holy Spirit.
Humanity
All people are created by God in His image and is uniquely made, possessing inherent worth, dignity, and the capacity for love, relationship, and moral choice. Due to sin, all people are separated from God and cannot be reconciled through their own effort. Yet through Jesus Christ’s sacrificial death and resurrection, all who put their faith in Him are forgiven and reconciled to God.
Salvation
Salvation is God’s ultimate gift of grace through faith in Jesus Christ. Through His death and resurrection, we are forgiven, reconciled to God, and given new and eternal life. It is not earned by good works but received through repentance and faith in Christ alone. Those who trust in Him are adopted as children of God and sealed with the Holy Spirit.
The Church
The Church is the body of Christ, made up of all believers who have been redeemed by His grace. We are called to worship God, grow in faith, love one another, and share the good news of Jesus Christ with the world. Through the Church, God continues His mission of redemption and hope.
